royal inspiration

I traveled to Delhi to attend a wedding earlier this year. We went to Agra the following morning and let our senses soak in the rich architecture style of the place.

As an artist this was such an enchanting experience. This bag was deeply inspired by the place and though we chose to make it a little contemporary, i hope it has remnants of a rich era. Illustrated is what i imagine would have been a  ‘Mughal Garden’.

It really has the feel of the intricate enamel work that one finds often in Mughal works.
